Anita Barone

Barone played in the fourth season Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham a chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was one of the cast members of Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone performed the role of Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in the initial Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she quit to accept full-time work. She was an actress for The Jeff Foxworthy Show during The first season (1995-1996) and The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone played a role in Daddio which was a sitcom that premiered in 2000. The other credits on television include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2004 for her performance in the feature film One Last Ride. The recurring character of Barone on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up started in 2010 just three years after The War at Home finished its running. She was played by Officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
